Ingredients
  

  • 8 slices sandwich bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Extra butter for cooking Maple syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Flatten bread slices with a rolling pin and remove crusts if desired.
    Brush bread with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
    Roll each bread slice tightly and set aside.
    Whisk eggs, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
    Dip each roll into the egg mixture evenly.
    Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    Cook roll ups until golden brown on all sides.
    Roll hot pieces in extra cinnamon sugar and serve warm.
