- 1 can Pillsbury cinnamon roll dough
- 2 medium apples peeled and chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg optional
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Icing included or homemade
Preheat oven as per package instructions.Heat butter in a pan and add chopped apples. Cook for 3–4 minutes.Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Mix well.Mix cornstarch with water and add to apples. Cook until thickened.Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.Open cinnamon roll dough and separate rolls.Add apple filling inside or on top of each roll.Place rolls in a greased baking dish.Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.Drizzle icing on top and serve warm.
